Job Description
You will work directly with the Founder across a mix of business operations, outreach, research, and day-to-day coordination. This is a generalist role where no two days look the same. You will get an unfiltered view of how a startup operates — but it demands reliability, speed, discretion, and an ownership mindset.
What You Will Do
- Research and outreach to potential clients, partners, investors, or candidates (cold emails, LinkedIn, follow-ups)
- Prepare briefs, decks, summaries, and perform data analysis to support decision-making
- Manage the Founder’s calendar, meeting preparation, and follow-through on action items
- Track ongoing projects, flag blockers, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
- Handle ad hoc tasks — the “whatever needs to get done” bucket
- Coordinate across functions and external stakeholders on behalf of the Founder
Who We Are Looking For
- Quick Learner — You pick things up fast. Whether it's a new tool, a new industry concept, or a new process, you figure it out without hand-holding.
- Problem Solver — You don't just flag problems, you come with solutions. You think on your feet and work through ambiguity.
- Adaptable — Priorities shift, plans change, and new challenges show up without warning. You adjust quickly without losing momentum or needing everything spelled out again.
- Analytical Mindset — You are comfortable with data, spreadsheets, and turning raw information into clear insights and recommendations.
- Methodical & Organized — You bring structure to chaos. You follow processes, create checklists, and never let details slip.
- Excellent Communicator — You write clearly, speak confidently, and know how to tailor your message for different audiences.
- Responsive & Flexible — Startup life doesn't always follow a fixed schedule. You are reachable, quick to respond, and willing to go the extra mile when it counts.
- High Energy & Enthusiasm — You bring positive energy to the work. You are excited about building something from scratch and don't shy away from the grind.
- Dependable — You keep your word. When you commit to a deadline or a task, it gets done — consistently, not just on good days.
- Ownership Mindset — You treat every task as your own. You don't wait to be told what to do next — you see what needs doing and do it.
