Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a core member of the company's senior management team, fully responsible for the company's financial strategy, capital management, risk management, budget control, and financial reporting, in order to support business growth, improve profitability, and achieve long-term strategic objectives.
The CFO typically reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and maintains close communication with the board of directors. Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy and Planning
Develop the company's medium-to-long-term financial strategy and capital management strategies.
Support corporate strategic decision-making by providing financial data analysis and feasibility assessments.
Optimize capital structure and manage financing, equity, and debt matters.
Budgeting and Financial Management
Develop annual budgets and financial plans, and monitor their implementation.
Monitor financial performance indicators (e.g., EBITDA, profit margins, cash flow).
Analyze financial variances and propose improvement plans.
Manage cost control and operational efficiency improvement programs.
Financial Reporting and Compliance
Oversee the preparation and auditing of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
Provide financial analysis and decision support to the Board of Directors and senior management team.
Ensure tax, audit, legal, and regulatory compliance.
Manage the internal control system to mitigate financial and operational risks.
Capital Markets and Investor Relations
Communicate with investors, banks, and financial institutions, and manage financing and investment relationships.
Support mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, strategic investments, and other capital operations.
Report on the company's financial status and strategic plans to the Board of Directors and shareholders.
Team Management and Organizational Development
Lead the finance team (accounting, financial analysis, tax, risk control, etc.).
Establish an efficient financial operating system and promote digital financial management.
Develop team capabilities and ensure the professionalism and forward-thinking nature of the finance function.
Qualifications
Education Background
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
Work Experience
12-20 years of financial management and leadership experience.
At least 5 years of experience in a C-level executive or Vice President finance position.
Experience in multinational corporations, listed companies, or capital operations is preferred.
Professional Skills
Familiarity with GAAP, IFRS, tax regulations, and corporate financial management systems.
Proficiency in budget management, cost control, financial analysis, and capital operations.
Ability to conduct corporate strategic planning, risk management, and investment decision-making.
Proficient in using ERP systems, financial software, and data analysis tools.
