SALARY RANGE: $300,000 - $450,000 annually

OVERVIEW
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for leading the overall financial strategy, planning, and operational oversight of a rapidly growing organization. This executive will serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, providing financial guidance that supports sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and long-term business objectives. The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, budgeting, and risk management, while helping to build scalable financial infrastructure across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute financial strategies that support organizational growth, operational performance, and long term scalability
- Partner closely with executive leadership to provide financial insights, recommendations, and decision support across the business
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure accurate resource allocation and performance tracking
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and risk management practices
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, reporting requirements, and accounting standards
- Oversee cash flow management, financial modeling, and capital planning initiatives
- Support strategic initiatives including vendor negotiations, pricing strategy, operational investments, and business expansion efforts
- Manage relationships with external partners including auditors, tax advisors, banking institutions, and other financial service providers
- Drive process improvements across accounting and finance functions to increase efficiency, visibility, and scalability
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing Finance and Accounting team
- Stay informed on evolving industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices to support organizational decision-making
- Partner with the President and COO to lead IPO readiness, planning, and execution, including financial reporting, internal controls, governance, and regulatory compliance
- Establish and maintain any future company financial reporting standards, including SEC reporting requirements and compliance frameworks
- Build scalable financial systems, processes, and controls to support grow and scale
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, treasury, tax, and financial planning activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX requirements, and applicable regulatory standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and corporate finance
- Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities in a growth oriented environment
- Knowledge of internal controls, compliance standards, and financial risk management practices
- Ability to interpret financial data and translate insights into strategic business recommendations
- Experience evaluating operational performance and identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- High level of business acumen with strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience
- Prior experience in an executive or senior financial leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience working within evolving or high growth organizations preferred
- CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification preferred
