Job Summary
Evora Retail Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s financial operations, planning, compliance, and growth strategy. The CFO will be responsible for managing financial risks, ensuring statutory compliance, optimizing costs, and supporting business expansion in the retail and garment sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization
- Support business expansion, new store openings, and investments
Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage MIS reports for management decision-making
- Ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting
Statutory Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory laws
- Handle statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities
- Ensure timely filing of returns and statutory forms
Cost Control & Profitability
- Analyze cost structures and implement cost-optimization measures
- Improve margins and operational efficiency
- Monitor inventory valuation and stock controls (retail/garment specific)
Risk Management & Internal Controls
- Establish strong internal control systems
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure fraud prevention and financial discipline
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor finance and accounts team
- Coordinate with CEO, Directors, and department heads
- Present financial insights and reports to the Board
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and corporate laws
- Experience in retail / textile / garment industry preferred
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Ability to work in a fast-growing business environment
Experience
- 8–12 years of relevant post-qualification experience
- Prior experience as CFO / Finance Head / Senior Finance Manager preferred
Compensation
- As per industry standards and experience (Negotiable)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
