Sr. Salesforce Technical Project Manager with CPQ Experience
Location: Prefer candidates local to the Bay Area who can work onsite (San Francisco) twice a week
Rate Range $75 to $80 hr C2C All Inc but rate flexible
Job Description
DocuSign is seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in Salesforce Commerce and CPQ to support and drive complex enterprise initiatives. This role blends Technical Project Management, Scrum Master responsibilities, and Program Coordination, requiring close collaboration with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams.
Role Allocation Overview

Key Responsibilities
Technical Project Management (40%)
- Lead end-to-end project delivery within the Salesforce Commerce and CPQ domain.
- Partner with engineering teams to create project timelines, scope, and effort estimates.
- Own and manage project kickoff and planning phases.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and constraints; develop and execute risk mitigation plans.
- Track milestones, deliverables, and overall execution to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare and publish weekly and monthly project status reports for stakeholders.
Scrum Master Responsibilities (40%)
- Act as the day-to-day Scrum Master for agile delivery teams.
- Facilitate Sprint Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Execution, Monitoring, and Retrospectives.
- Manage N+1 and N+2 sprint planning, backlog readiness, and coordination of technical design activities.
- Remove impediments, promote agile best practices, and ensure team productivity.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Engineering leads to maintain a healthy backlog.
Program Management / Coordination (10%)
- Coordinate across multiple teams and initiatives as part of a broader program.
- Identify program-level risks and dependencies and support mitigation strategies.
- Provide weekly and monthly program-level status updates across teams and leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in Salesforce environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce CPQ.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and engineering workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with engineering teams on estimates, planning, and execution.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Experience managing multiple initiatives in parallel in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification preferred.
- SAFe Agilist and/or Scrum Master certification preferred.
- Prior experience working in large enterprise or SaaS organizations.
- Experience coordinating cross-team programs in a scaled agile environment.
