Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for the overall financial strategy, operational performance, and fiscal stewardship of the organization.
This role combines high-level strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight. The CFO will lead all accounting, reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, and compliance functions while building scalable financial infrastructure to support a complex, multi-entity, multi-location business.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and pragmatic — someone who can partner with ownership, influence operational leaders, and drive measurable financial performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance Leadership
• Develop and execute long-term financial strategy aligned with company growth objectives
• Serve as a trusted advisor to ownership and executive leadership
• Provide financial insights to guide investment, expansion, and operational decisions
Financial Planning & Analysis
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Deliver KPIs, dashboards, and actionable reporting to improve profitability
• Analyze revenue, labor, and cost drivers to enhance margins
Accounting & Controls
• Oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls
• Lead month-end, year-end, audit, and tax processes
Treasury & Capital Management
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital
• Oversee banking relationships, debt structures, and financing strategies
• Support capital allocation and growth initiatives
Leadership & Operations Partnership
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team (Controller, Assistant Controller, staff)
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, HR, and leadership to drive performance
• Support contract pricing, vendor strategy, and potential acquisitions
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• 10–15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
• Prior experience as CFO, VP Finance, or Controller in a multi-location or multi-entity environment
• Strong background in FP&A, treasury, and operational finance
• Proven ability to scale processes and lead high-performing teams
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, solutions-oriented leadership style
• Excellent executive communication and business partnership skills
