We are an incorporated multi-entity organization operating within the Canadian/International cannabis production, manufacturing and distribution space. Our portfolio includes:
- Organnicraft Production Inc. – Premium craft cannabis cultivation and production.
- Pantheon Cannabis Group Inc. – Extraction, Custom Manufacturing and GMP Processing for Export.
- 3 additionally owned and operated cultivation facilities and multiple partner facilities under an international procurement model and partnership.
Together, these companies form a dynamic and rapidly evolving group committed to excellence, regulatory integrity, and sustainable growth. We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations across all entities.
Position Summary
The CFO will oversee consolidated financial management for the group of companies, ensuring strong financial controls, compliance with Health Canada and CRA requirements, and strategic planning to support long-term growth. This role requires deep experience in multi-entity corporate structures, preferably within cannabis, agriculture, food and beverage, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals or similarly regulated industries.
The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Develop and execute financial strategies to support organizational growth and operational efficiency.
- Provide executive leadership with insights, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across all the companies.
- Lead mergers, acquisitions, financing, and investment activities as required.
Financial Operations & Oversight
- Oversee consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and variance analysis.
- Manage month-end and year-end financial processes for all entities.
- Ensure consistent financial policy, controls, and procedures across the group.
Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain full compliance with all financial and cannabis industry regulations, including Health Canada, CRA, and applicable provincial authorities.
- Oversee tax planning and ensure timely filing of all corporate returns for each company.
Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization.
- Evaluate capital structures, financial exposures, liquidity needs, and operational risks.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with auditors, legal teams, and external financial partners as needed.
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and oversee the finance and accounting teams across all companies.
- Implement systems to improve financial data accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications Required
- CPA designation or equivalent senior financial certification.
- 5+ years in senior financial leadership roles (CFO, VP Finance, Director of Finance, etc.).
- Experience managing financial operations in multi-entity corporate structures.
- Strong understanding of Canadian GAAP, tax law, and corporate finance.
Preferred
- Experience in the cannabis, agriculture, Pharmaceuticals, CPG manufacturing, or regulatory industries.
- Background in capital raising, M&A, and investor relations.
- Familiarity with cost accounting, inventory management, and production forecasting.
