Job Title: Business Operations Executive
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Mode: On-site
Job Location: Jammu / Gurugram
Industry: IT / Managed Service
We are looking for a Business Operations Executive to work closely with the Director and take ownership of the day-to-day operational detail that keeps the business running smoothly.
This is a hands-on role focused on organisation, follow-through, and forward planning.
What the role is responsible for?
Operational ownership
- Tracking contracts, renewals, licences, suppliers, and key dates
- Making sure renewals and follow-ups are identified well in advance, not at the last minute
- Maintaining clear records so nothing relies on memory or informal notes
Supporting sales and renewals
- Preparing information ahead of customer renewals and reviews
- Making sure customers receive clear, timely updates — especially when everything is running well
- Supporting the Director with preparation so meetings and pitches are structured and effective
Decision support (not just escalation)
When issues arise, you will:
- Assess the situation
- Prepare clear options with a recommendation
- Escalate with context, not just questions
- Progress sensible next steps if the Director is unavailable, keeping everything visible
This role is about reducing interruptions and noise, not creating more of them.
Structure in a fast-moving environment
- Helping build simple, practical processes that support the business
- Keeping organisation and visibility when priorities change
- Improving how information is tracked and shared over time
Director support
- Preparing meeting notes, follow-ups, and action lists
- Tracking agreed actions and making sure they are completed
- Acting as an operational point of continuity when the Director is dealing with technical issues or customer escalations
The type of person this suits:
This role will suit someone who:
- Is naturally organised and detail-focused
- Thinks ahead and flags issues early
- Is comfortable making sensible decisions with incomplete information
- Prefers bringing options and recommendations, not just problems
- Can prioritise calmly when several things are happening at once
- Is happy working behind the scenes to support visible wins for others
You do not need to be highly technical, but you must be comfortable working in a technical business.
Experience & skills
- Experience in business operations, executive support, coordination, or a similar role
- Strong organisational and follow-through skills
- Confident written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working closely with senior leadership
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, trackers, and business systems
Judgement, ownership, and reliability are more important than formal qualifications.
