We are looking for a Business Operations Executive to work closely with the Director and take ownership of the day-to-day operational detail that keeps the business running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role focused on organisation, follow-through, and forward planning.

What the role is responsible for?

Operational ownership

Tracking contracts, renewals, licences, suppliers, and key dates
Making sure renewals and follow-ups are identified well in advance, not at the last minute
Maintaining clear records so nothing relies on memory or informal notes

Supporting sales and renewals

Preparing information ahead of customer renewals and reviews
Making sure customers receive clear, timely updates — especially when everything is running well
Supporting the Director with preparation so meetings and pitches are structured and effective

Decision support (not just escalation)

When issues arise, you will:

Assess the situation
Prepare clear options with a recommendation
Escalate with context, not just questions
Progress sensible next steps if the Director is unavailable, keeping everything visible

This role is about reducing interruptions and noise, not creating more of them.

Structure in a fast-moving environment

Helping build simple, practical processes that support the business
Keeping organisation and visibility when priorities change
Improving how information is tracked and shared over time

Director support

Preparing meeting notes, follow-ups, and action lists
Tracking agreed actions and making sure they are completed
Acting as an operational point of continuity when the Director is dealing with technical issues or customer escalations

Experience & skills

Experience in business operations, executive support, coordination, or a similar role
Strong organisational and follow-through skills
Confident written and verbal communication
Comfortable working closely with senior leadership
Familiarity with spreadsheets, trackers, and business systems

Judgement, ownership, and reliability are more important than formal qualifications.
