About The Job
We are seeking a highly motivated Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is entrusted with fostering a culture of continuous growth and excellence among Tech Etch employees. The CFO plays a pivotal role in shaping Tech Etch’s long-term vision, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the organization achieves sustainable growth and industry leadership. The CFO is a strategic, hands-on executive who leads Tech Etch’s financial strategy, reporting integrity, risk management, and long-term value creation. The CFO also leads the IT and Cybersecurity organization, ensuring secure, modern, and reliable technology systems aligned with business needs. This role partners closely with the CEO, Operations, Sales, and cross-functional leaders to build scalable processes and drive enterprise-wide excellence.
SHIFT: Day Shift / Full-Time (On-site/Hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO and executive team to shape long-range financial strategy and operating plans.
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams across Accounting, FP&A, and IT.
- Lead financial reporting, monthly close, internal controls, audits, and compliance with SOX-like rigor.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, pricing/margin analytics, and performance dashboards.
- Manage treasury, liquidity, banking relationships, covenant compliance, and ROI-driven capital allocation.
- Optimize working capital across AR, AP, and inventory; improve cash conversion and credit risk management.
- Lead and continuously improve standard costing, variance analysis, labor/overhead rates, and manufacturing finance.
- Partner with the CEO to execute our M&A strategy including; financial modeling, due diligence, integration planning, and strategic investment decisions.
- Partner with Operations on BOM accuracy, routings, scrap reduction, yield improvement, and unit economics.
- Partner with Sales & Marketing to manage pricing and quotation modeling for new and existing programs.
- Partner with the Executive Team to strengthen our digital business including; ERP optimization, business intelligence, Artificial Intelligence (AI),and automation across the organization.
- Oversee IT and Cybersecurity strategy, governance, budgets, system reliability, infrastructure modernization, data security, and risk mitigation.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
- Expertise across Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and scalable process development.
- Strong cost accounting and operations finance background; MedTech, Defense, or precision manufacturing preferred.
- Experience with M&A management including pipeline development, modeling, diligence, and integration.
- Leadership experience overseeing IT and/or Cybersecurity functions.
- Values-driven leader with strong communication skills and an owner mindset focused on cash, margin, and long-term value.

Salary Range
Base salary of $225,000 to $325,000, complemented by a significant annual performance bonus and participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
