Kindling Sauna Ltd is hiring a Junior Operations & Growth Coordinator to join our growing team as we scale community sauna sites across London.
This is an entry-level role designed for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience inside a fast-growing, mission-driven startup. You’ll work closely with the directors, supporting day-to-day operations, fundraising activity, and the delivery of our community and content initiatives.
Purpose of the role
To support the directors’ team with the smooth running of the company, contribute to fundraising activity, and help deliver content, operations and community engagement as the business grows.
This role blends operations, administration, fundraising support and marketing execution—ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants broad exposure to how an early-stage company operates.
Key responsibilities1. Fundraising & Growth Support
- Support the preparation of investor materials, including pitch decks, one-pagers and data rooms
- Help coordinate communications with potential investors and partners, maintaining structured records and CRM systems
- Assist with scheduling and preparation for fundraising meetings, including agendas and follow-up notes
- Conduct light market research and competitor analysis to strengthen fundraising narratives
2. Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the directors
- Maintain and update internal documents, databases and digital filing systems
- Support operational coordination, including site maintenance schedules, logistics planning and stock tracking
- Assist with onboarding new suppliers, contractors and collaborators
3. Content & Communications
- Help implement the content and communications plan across social media, newsletters and community updates
- Draft posts, source imagery and schedule content
- Support the creation of blog posts and email newsletters
- Monitor community engagement and respond to basic enquiries in a calm, friendly and professional manner
4. Community & Event Support
- Assist in planning and delivering pop-up events, partnerships and activations across London
- Support on-site activity during events where required
5. Startup Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Take ownership of small projects that support growth (e.g. researching new locations, supporting membership initiatives)
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and customer experience
- Bring ideas, energy and care to help build a positive, values-led company culture
Experience & skills we’re looking for
- A genuine interest in health, wellness and community-led initiatives
- Experience with community-focused or grassroots organisations (volunteer or paid)
- Strong organisational and scheduling skills
- Confidence coordinating logistics, maintenance or operational tasks
- Clear written communication skills
- A calm, caring and reassuring manner when working with the public
- Comfortable working in a small team where priorities can shift
- Right to work in the UK
