About the Role
We are seeking a driven, high-integrity Finance Manager / Controller with a clear growth path into a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role. This position is ideal for a motivated early-career professional, a less-experienced finance leader—who has strong fundamentals, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to grow into senior leadership, or someone wanting to have a direct role in growing a company.
This is a hands-on role with direct exposure to ownership and operations. You will be deeply involved in the day-to-day financial health of the company while developing the judgment, business understanding, and leadership skills required of a future CFO.
Key Responsibilities (Day 1 Focus)
- Prepare and maintain accurate monthly financial statements
- Track and manage cash flow, AR/AP, and working capital
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support operational cost tracking, margins, and utilization metrics
- Maintain financial organization, controls, and documentation
- Work closely with ownership to understand business decisions and priorities
- Coordinate with external CPAs, banks, and advisors
Responsibilities will expand as experience and capability grow.
CFO-Track Development Areas
As you grow in the role, you will progressively take ownership of:
- Financial forecasting and strategic planning
- Capital expenditure analysis and ROI evaluation
- Banking relationships and financing support
- Risk management, insurance, and compliance
- Leadership and development of accounting/finance processes
- Providing clear financial insight to support company decisions
