About The Role
The Acquisition Operations Manager will be a core contributor within Uber's
global Acquisition Center of Excellence (CoE) in Delivery Commercial Operations (DCO), supporting the design, implementation, and measurement of scalable acquisition processes across regions and markets within Uber's Delivery business.
This role sits at the
intersection of process design, tooling enablement, and analytics. The individual will use data and field insights to identify opportunities, inform business requirements, and monitor acquisition health - while also owning the documentation, execution, and rollout of process improvements.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys combining structured thinking, operational execution, and data-informed decision-making to improve how commercial teams work every day, in partnership with global and regional stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Process Design & SOP Development
- Create, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflows for global acquisition processes, ensuring consistency while documenting regional variations.
- Translate strategy and problem statements into clear, actionable process designs.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and standardization opportunities.
Tooling Enablement & Business Requirements
- Draft business requirements and user stories to support acquisition-related tooling enhancements (e.g., Salesforce).
- Partner with Product, Business Technology Engineering, and Digital Field Experience teams through solution design, UAT, and rollout.
- Ensure process intent is accurately reflected in tooling solutions.
Analytics-Driven Opportunity Identification & Monitoring
- Independently query and analyze acquisition funnel and operational data to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Use data to strengthen business cases and inform prioritization decisions.
- Define and monitor success metrics to track adoption, performance, and overall acquisition health post-launch.
Program Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support implementation of acquisition process improvements, pilots, and global rollouts in partnership with regional teams.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Enablement, and Regional stakeholders to gather feedback and validate solutions.
- Contribute to change management efforts, including documentation, communications, and enablement materials.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Strategy & Ops, or Process Management
- Ability to independently query data (e.g., SQL) to answer business questions and support analysis
- Familiarity with Salesforce and common GTM tooling
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Strategy & Ops, or Process Management
- Demonstrated experience using data to inform business or process decisions
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Experience designing or documenting business processes and SOPs
- Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience working on tooling implementations or process change initiatives
- Familiarity with acquisition or sales funnel metrics
- Experience building lightweight dashboards or recurring reports
- Experience operating in a global, multi-segment commercial organization
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$118,000 per year - USD$131,000 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
