About Us
Man For Himself is an award-winning men’s grooming and lifestyle platform founded by Robin James in 2012, operating across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and ManForHimself.com.
Alongside this, Anforh is a premium men’s grooming and fragrance brand. The first haircare product launched in 2023, with further haircare launches in July and November 2025. In November 2025, the brand also launched three fine fragrances alongside a discovery set.
This is a founder-led business that has grown organically and is now entering a phase where structure, prioritisation, and operational clarity are essential to support sustainable growth.
The Role
We’re looking for a Business Operations & Growth Manager to become the Founder’s right hand and second-in-command.
This role is about turning ideas into action, bringing clarity to what matters week to week, and ensuring momentum across both the content platform (Man For Himself) and the product brand (Anforh), without everything relying on the Founder.
This is a senior, part-time role suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, autonomy, and working closely with a founder in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Weekly priorities & momentum
- Help define what matters each week and month
- Bring structure and focus to a busy, creative business
- Ensure projects move forward and are followed through
Operations & coordination
- Manage freelancers and external partners
- Improve systems, workflows, and ways of working
- Act as a central point of coordination so the Founder isn’t carrying everything
Commercial oversight (across both businesses)
- Own pricing logic and commercial structure
- Handle inbound enquiries and negotiations for Man For Himself
- Sense-check opportunities and protect the Founder’s time
- Support retail, wholesale, and partnership conversations for Anforh
Growth & forward thinking
- Identify opportunities and risks early
- Bring recommendations to the Founder (“I think we should do X, here’s why”)
- Support launches, timelines, and next steps
- Help the business grow without unnecessary complexity
What this role is not
- Not a sales-only role
- Not a marketing execution role
- Not a creative or content role
- Not a consultant drop-in
This is an integrator role with ownership and responsibility.

- Is calm, organised, and decisive
- Enjoys turning ideas into action
- Spots problems before they escalate
- Is commercially minded but not sales-led
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Is comfortable challenging a founder constructively
- Wants to build something, not just “do a job”
Experience in founder-led businesses, startups, or scaling environments is a strong advantage, but not essential.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
