Title: Chief Financial Officer
Reports to: President of Belle Brands
Location: Remote (NY, CT Preferred)
About
Belle Brands is looking for a strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team and work across a portfolio of beauty and personal care brands (JVN, Pipette, KVD). This role will lead our financial operations and partner closely with leadership to drive sustainable growth and profitability. The CFO will oversee all financial aspects of the business, including financial strategy, planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management. This role will be a key member of the executive team and will play a critical role in shaping the company’s long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s financial strategy, planning, and forecasting
- Oversee accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting functions
- Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital structure
- Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee audits, tax filings, and external financial relationships
- Support fundraising, investor relations, and financing activities
- Evaluate and manage financial risks and opportunities
- Partner with department leaders to optimize profitability and efficiency
- Build, lead, and mentor the finance and accounting team
- Support M&A, strategic initiatives, and long-term growth planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive finance and leadership experience
- Experience in beauty and personal goods space
- Experience in high-growth or entrepreneurial environments
- Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
- Experience with fundraising, banking, or investor relations preferred
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- High integrity and sound business judgment
