At EasyIT, we’ve spent nearly 30 years helping businesses simplify and strengthen their technology. As one of Central Ohio’s Fast 50 companies, we’re proud to be growing—and we’re looking for a sales & marketing leader to step in as our Chief Revenue Officer.
This person must engage as a player/coach. As a player you will actively sell, generate opportunities, build strategic relationships, and close deals. As the revenue leader, you are to sit on the leadership team, set a GTM strategy, and build a scalable revenue architecture that is process driven and measurable so that future sales hires can step into an effective sales system. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and drive our mission forward!
What you’ll do
- Build out structure, refine the sales process, tooling, comp plans, marketing, metrics, and playbooks
- Player / coach- Leverage your network and sales skills to hunt and close deals as a player. As you succeed in driving sales, continue to manage and build our sales team
- Run cross-functional growth campaigns- Your primary objective is driving new logo sales growth. However, we believe sales, account management, marketing, and operations should work together. We are looking for someone with the ability to run cross-functional growth campaigns
- Partner with the CEO- The sales leader of the organization should be the CEO’s right-hand person, assisting with the formulation of overall business strategy and execution
- Collaborate with the sales team to help them develop high quality quotes and proposal presentations to gain customer approval
- Revise proposals based on clear understanding of customer feedback
- Monitor our sales opportunity tracking system/process
- Attend prospecting meetings and assist the sales team with follow up items
- Coordinate and attend EasyIT networking events
What We're Looking For
- A smart, motivated leader who is looking to “roll up their sleeves” and hungry to make an impact by building a sustainable organic growth model
- Previous experience selling in an MSP environment is preferred.
- A demonstrated track record of sales success and confidence your successes will continue with us
- Ability to quickly establish rapport and gain trust of others
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
