Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Onsite – Columbus, OH
Salary Range: $150,000–$180,000 + benefits
A well‑established construction company in Central Ohio is seeking a
hands‑on Chief Financial Officer to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and team development. This role is ideal for a construction‑experienced CFO who is comfortable operating at both the strategic and day‑to‑day level while partnering closely with ownership and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive oversight of all accounting and financial operations
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Lead financial reporting, forecasting, projections, and ad‑hoc analysis
- Oversee job cost accounting, WIP reporting, and project profitability using percentage‑of‑completion accounting
- Manage and develop the accounting team
- Handle tax compliance and coordinate external audits
- Partner with leadership and operations to deliver actionable financial insights
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced financial visibility
Preferred Qualifications Of The CFO
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related
- Construction industry experience
- Proven people leadership and team management experience
