IT Business Operations Analyst:
The IT Business Operations Analyst supports the operational efficiency and strategic alignment of Sungrow USA’s IT department. This role focuses on internal communications, SOP documentation, project coordination, and process improvement. Additionally, the analyst plays a key role in Business Relationship Management (BRM) by fostering collaboration between IT and business units to ensure IT services meet evolving organizational needs. Reviewing company policies, procedures, and functions to find areas of improvement, optimizing business processes and supporting operational efficiency initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to data-driven decision-making that drives the growth and success of our organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Forge strategic IT–business partnerships to drive alignment and collaboration • Implement ITIL-aligned BRM to enhance collaboration and IT service delivery • Document business requirements to align IT solutions with organizational goals • Drive feedback loops to improve IT service quality and user experience • Create clear IT communications, updates, and announcements • Support change management for smooth adoption of new processes and technologies • Apply project management methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor IT projects • Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless collaboration • Track project milestones to ensure timely delivery • Optimize resource allocation for efficient utilization • Prepare accurate reports to inform stakeholders and guide decisions • Build dashboards for real-time visibility and transparency • Identify process improvement opportunities to boost efficiency • Analyze operational data for trends and actionable insights • Support ISO 27001, SOC 2, and related compliance initiatives • Assist with audit preparation for regulatory readiness • Create knowledge base articles and deliver user training to improve IT adoption • Develop standardized IT SOPs for consistency and efficiency • Provide backup support for the service desk • Document and publish escalation paths for timely issue resolution • Collaborate with engineers to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Minimum Requirements: • 0-2 years of experience in business operations, analysis, or a related role • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with data visualization tools • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights • Strong technical writing skills for creating clear and comprehensive documentation
Education or Desired License and Certificates: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Certifications such as ITIL 4 Foundation, CBAP, PMP/CAPM, CSM, CompTIA Project+, or Power BI Data Analyst (preferred, not required)
Competencies • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) • Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, adaptability, proactive problem-solving, collaborative mindset
