D-Trans, LLC is a rapidly growing logistics and transportation company headquartered in Venice, Florida, operating a modern fleet and warehouse facilities serving high-value, time-sensitive, and specialized cargo sectors. As we continue expanding operations, strengthening compliance frameworks (GDP, TAPA, bonded freight), and scaling infrastructure, we are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team.
This is a key strategic role reporting directly to ownership, responsible for financial oversight, risk management, capital strategy, and long-term growth planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial operations including accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with company growth objectives
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and capital expenditures
- Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and equipment financing
- Support fleet expansion, warehouse investments, and operational scaling initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and transportation-specific regulations
- Oversee audits, tax planning, and insurance renewals
- Build and lead an internal finance and accounting team
- Provide executive-level financial insight and KPI reporting to ownership
Qualifications
- Proven experience as CFO, VP of Finance, or senior financial executive
- Experience in logistics, trucking, warehousing, or transportation industry strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of fleet financing, asset-heavy operations, and cash flow management
- Experience managing multi-entity corporate structures is a plus
- CPA preferred
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a growing organization
