About the Role
Greenlink is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s financial strategy and operations. This role is responsible for overseeing accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance while partnering closely with executive leadership to support sustainable growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on financial leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day financial oversight in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Develop and show a financial strategy aligned with the company's growth and operational goals
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state (Illinois), and local financial and tax regulations
- Oversee audits and work with external accountants, auditors, and financial advisors
- Monitor financial performance, KPIs, and margins to identify risks and opportunities
- Partner with department leaders on pricing, project costing, and capital planning
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls, systems, and processes
- Manage and mentor the finance and accounting team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- MBA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification preferred
- 8+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
- Previous CFO or senior finance leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, and compliance
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Google Workspace
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
