Emerald Transportation Solutions seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operation Specialist to join our sales department. The Sales Operation Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team, optimizing sales processes, and contributing to the overall success of our sales organization. Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and optimizing sales processes, including lead management, opportunity tracking, and sales pipeline management, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Answer customer inquiries, schedule meetings, and sales appointments, and follow up with customers about their order status.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate data entry into the CRM system and other sales-related tools.
- Assist in maintaining the CRM system and other sales-related databases, ensuring accurate and reliable sales reporting and analysis data.
- Track all after-sales execution activities all the way to client delivery.
- Managing customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative purposes, and providing troubleshooting assistance for sales orders, account status, and other issues.
- Assist in analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for process improvements and sales performance enhancements.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insight into sales metrics, forecasts, and pipeline management.
- Support ad-hoc projects related to sales process optimization, system implementations, and operational enhancements.
- Processing orders in a timely manner, processing requests for rush orders, and reviewing pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Optimize sales processes and workflows to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Identify and address issues related to sales operations and propose solutions for continuous improvement.
- Develop comprehensive sales performance dashboards and reports to provide actionable insight for sales leadership and senior management.
- Ability to travel as required (20%).
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills and Requirements
- Associates Degree in business, business administration, marketing, or related field.
- Three years of Sales Operations, sales support, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales operations, sales strategy, and revenue growth.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on process optimization and efficiency.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in using data analysis and reporting tools to monitor and measure sales performance metrics.
- Experience developing and maintaining comprehensive sales performance dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide senior management and sales leadership actionable insight.
- Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Sales Cloud knowledge preferred (certification is a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Software skills, including using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
