Bifrost Defence is a Copenhagen-based defence technology company building dual-use products for NATO allies and partner nations. We're scaling from 3 to 6 frontline products in 2026, working with end-users across Ministries of Defence, SOCOM, and Ukraine. The company operates within the Bifrost Studios venture ecosystem.
We're hiring an Ops & GTM Lead to drive execution across product validation, go-to-market, and portfolio operations. This is our most important hire — you free up the CEO and founding team to focus on strategy and partnerships by ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. With you in the seat, the entire company moves faster.
Tasks
- Own the full cycle from technical validation to first customers. Coordinate across engineering, end-users, and teams in Ukraine. Manage pilots, trials, and T&E deployments.
- Build repeatable GTM systems for early-stage defence products. Define sales playbooks, prepare RFI/RFP responses and BD decks, and stand up CRM and pipeline tracking.
- Run the GTM pipeline end-to-end. Track every lead, stage deals, run weekly pipeline reviews, and hand off warm opportunities to founders for closing.
- Be the operational backbone to the CEO. Create OKRs, dashboards, SOPs, and reporting. Help portfolio teams professionalise without bureaucracy.
- Coordinate across distributed teams with daily standups and weekly planning to keep execution tight.
- Support hiring, investor-readiness, and cross-portfolio coordination within Bifrost Studios.
Requirements
- 1–3 years in a fast-paced ops role (BizOps, Founder's Associate, Chief of Staff, or similar).
- Strong communicator, you'll be the connective tissue between engineers, soldiers, investors, and founders.
- High initiative and ownership mentality. You operate without oversight and own outcomes, not tasks.
- Extreme proficiency in the startup ops toolstack: Notion, Slack, Google Suite, CRM tools.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and intense work culture.
- Availability for flexible hours to coordinate with overseas teams.
- Experience in defence tech, consulting (MBB), investment banking, VC, or government contracting is a plus.
