The CFO will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the company’s financial operations. This includes managing financial strategy, working closely with banks to secure financing, and collaborating with the CEO on mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, depending on the candidate’s experience and profile, there may be an opportunity to expand the role to include leadership in HR, legal, and administrative functions, ensuring a broader influence on the company’s operational success. The position offers a unique chance to shape the future of the business while driving financial innovation and alignment with strategic goals.
The current finance function is solid, well-established, and operates effectively in a traditional sense. However, there is a recognized potential for growth, with a need to evolve into a more dynamic and modern finance operation that is closely integrated with the overall business strategy. The goal is to enhance agility, responsiveness, and the ability to drive business performance through financial insights and decision-making.
Requirements/Experience
• Strong Reporting/Accounting experience (ideally from complex structure with subsidiaries)
• Controlling experience
• Good understanding of what a modern, automized, digitalized finance function looks like
• Experience from working in SME settings – hands-on and involved
• Ideally experience in working with banks / leverage/LBO model
• Ideally M&A experience
• Open to be 4 days/week in the office – HQ near Stuttgart
• Fluent in German and English
