Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a comprehensive annual budget and partner with department leaders to drive thoughtful planning and fiscal accountability.
- Oversee the full audit process and ensure timely, high‑quality financial statements and reporting.
- Manage internal and external reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with all applicable regulations and funding guidelines.
- Direct revenue‑related functions such as billing and collections, focusing on accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor cash flow, optimize investment strategies, and oversee debt‑related activities to support long‑term financial stability.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to help guide executive‑level decision‑making.
- Lead core financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Champion strong internal controls, financial integrity, and adherence to accounting and regulatory standards.
- Inspire, mentor, and develop a talented finance team, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and collaboration.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management.
- Proven expertise in preparing and managing annual budgets and financial reports.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee cash management, investments, and debt strategies.
- Strong knowledge of internal control systems and compliance with accounting principles.
- Advanced skills in conducting financial analysis to assess and improve organizational performance.
- Proficiency in supervising payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively train and guide staff.
