We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team in Baltimore County, Maryland. In this role, you will oversee the financial strategy, reporting, and controls of the organization while providing direction to HR, IT, and risk management functions. This position plays a critical role in driving profitability, optimizing cash flow, and supporting the company's long-term growth objectives through Mergers and Acquisitions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with corporate goals and support sustained growth.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Lead the preparation of accurate financial reports, forecasts, and key performance analyses for stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure financial integrity.
- Manage relationships with lenders, banks, and external partners, ensuring compliance and effective communication.
- Provide financial guidance on major contracts, capital investments, and strategic decisions.
- Partner with operational teams to enhance performance across sales, service, parts, and rental departments.
- Oversee HR and IT functions, ensuring systems and processes meet organizational needs and scalability.
- Lead financial due diligence and integration efforts for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
- Mentor and develop high-performing teams across finance, HR, and IT, fostering accountability and growth.
- Proven experience in executive financial leadership roles, including CFO or similar positions.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Expertise in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate development strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with lenders, banking partners, and external stakeholders.
- Experience with internal controls, compliance audits, and risk management programs.
- Effective leadership skills with a focus on mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in leveraging financial systems and driving process improvements for scalability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to provide clear insights to executives and boards.
