Job Summary

Duties
- Lead and oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Manage treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships to optimize resources.
- Develop and implement robust risk analysis frameworks aligned with COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations) standards and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance requirements.
- Drive strategic planning initiatives by analyzing market trends, conducting business analysis, and supporting mergers & acquisitions activities to facilitate growth opportunities.
- Oversee budgeting processes, expense management, cost control measures, and profit & loss analysis to ensure fiscal discipline across the organization.
- Supervise financial software systems and ensure accurate financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis for informed decision-making.
- Lead regulatory reporting efforts while ensuring compliance with governmental accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership on business development strategies, revenue management initiatives, and supply chain cost management efforts.
- Manage payroll processes including payroll management systems to guarantee timely employee compensation.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in financial concepts such as cost accounting, technical accounting practices like ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers), and internal controls aligned with COSO frameworks.
Experience
- Proven track record in senior financial leadership roles within complex organizations or non-profit sectors demonstrating strong management capabilities.
- Extensive experience in corporate finance including mergers & acquisitions, revenue cycle management, and strategic planning.
- Deep understanding of financial concepts such as risk management, market analysis, fiscal management, and financial analysis techniques.
- Hands-on experience with governmental accounting standards along with proficiency in IFRS and GAAP reporting standards.
- Skilled in using advanced financial software tools for reporting, modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Demonstrated success supervising teams responsible for accounting functions such as cost management, payroll management, tax accounting, and public accounting practices.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with business development acumen to foster organizational growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills in financial report writing and interpretation to support transparency at all levels of leadership.
