Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic IT Business Operations Manager to support in overseeing IT vendor relationships, operational performance, and financial management. This role ensures that IT operations run efficiently, vendors deliver value, and technology investments align with business goals.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in IT operations, vendor management, financial planning, and reporting, with the ability to translate data and analytics into actionable insights for leadership.

<.> Key ResponsibilitiesVendor & Contract Management

Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure performance, accountability, and value.
Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and risk assessments, driving continuous improvement.
Identify opportunities to reduce vendor sprawl and consultant dependency through standardization and strategic sourcing.
Track service performance, vendor effectiveness, and cost efficiency, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

Prepare and deliver financial and operational reports for IT leadership to support informed decision-making.
Support annual IT budgeting and forecasting in partnership with Finance.
Track IT expenses, manage variances, and align technology investments to evolving business needs.
Support the development of business cases for new IT initiatives and services, ensuring financial rigor and value realization.
Develop and maintain dashboards and operational metrics for budget performance, contractual compliance, and service delivery.

Operational Leadership & Strategy

Support IT staffing plans, onboarding, and professional development initiatives.
Identify, assess, and manage IT operational and vendor-related risks, escalating issues when appropriate.
Collaborate across Finance, Legal, Procurement, and other teams to drive operational improvements.
Provide insights and executive summaries to leadership, synthesizing information from data and conversations.

<.> Qualifications & Skills

7+ years of experience in IT operations, technology operations, or enterprise operations leadership.
Strong understanding of IT financial management, budgeting, and cost controls.
Proven experience managing vendors, contracts, and third-party services.
2+ years delivering business updates to leadership, including executive summaries.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization platforms.
Competency in vetting vendors for cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
Analytical and detail-oriented, with experience operating in regulated environments.
Strong understanding of financial services products, distribution channels, and market trends.
Adept at translating data and analytics into actionable business insights.
