To support our next phase of growth, we are creating the new role of Chief Financial Officer.
Position Summary
The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team and a strategic partner to the CEO, Board, and investors. This leader will build and lead a best-in-class finance organization capable of supporting a complex, multi-brand, multi-state platform at scale.
This position will be based on the East Coast, with regular travel to company operations and brand partners.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in multi-unit restaurant, retail, or franchise environments, excels in both strategy and execution, and has a proven record of driving growth, improving margins, and building financial infrastructure for expanding enterprises.
What You’ll Own
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and ownership on growth strategy, capital allocation, and value creation.
- Help lead M&A evaluation, underwriting, diligence, financing, and integration.
- Develop long-range financial plans aligned with development pipelines and investor return objectives.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, audit, and compliance.
- Produce timely, accurate, decision-ready reporting for leadership, lenders, and investors.
- Upgrade forecasting, budgeting, and KPI visibility across brands and regions.
Operational Partnership
- Partner with operations and brand leadership to improve restaurant-level economics.
- Drive labor, food cost, and controllable expense insights.
- Implement performance management frameworks and dashboards.
Capital & Banking Relationships
- Lead relationships with lenders and financing partners.
- Optimize capital structure to support acquisitions and development.
- Oversee cash management and liquidity planning.
Systems & Infrastructure
- Professionalize processes appropriate for a scaled platform.
- Lead finance technology enhancements, data integrity, and internal controls.
- Build a team and structure that can scale with continued expansion.
Team Building
- Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performance finance organization.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- CFO or senior finance executive experience in a multi-unit environment (QSR, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or franchise strongly preferred).
- Experience supporting private equity or institutional investors.
- Track record with M&A and integration.
- Experience managing debt facilities and lender relationships.
- History of building teams and upgrading financial infrastructure in growing organizations.
