Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for driving the financial health, strategy, and long-term success of the organization. This role combines strong financial expertise with operational insight and strategic leadership.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative, entrepreneurial leader who can translate complex financial data into actionable business insights while building scalable infrastructure to support growth.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead all financial operations including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, profitability analysis, banking relationships, and audit coordination
- Build and enhance financial infrastructure to support scalable, efficient, and sustainable growth
- Develop, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Oversee the annual budgeting process and monitor actual performance against plan
- Conduct regular financial reviews with department leaders to align performance with strategic objectives
- Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments
- Partner with executive leadership to shape and implement short-, mid-, and long-term financial strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple entities and jurisdictions
- Analyze financial risks and opportunities and provide strategic recommendations
- Improve financial processes, systems, and internal controls
- Perform additional duties and strategic initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (required)
- CPA strongly preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
- Experience managing multi-state operations and regulatory compliance preferred
- Background in construction or professional services industries highly desirable
- Experience building and scaling finance teams in high-growth environments

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
