The Sales Operations Analyst supports and enables Nestlé Sales Organization (NSO) analytics, working with the Enable HUB Strategic Planning team to identify and execute projects to strengthen our processes and practices across NSO. Utilize sophisticated analytic data models to compile analysis and provide recommendations that drives positive ROI and/or new behaviors for the Nestlé Sales Organization. Assist in using data and analytics to support business decisions. Ensure the outputs are well understood and meet the business needs to deliver results. Identify and communicate business trends, update scorecards and produce ad-hoc reports to enable informed decisions related to improving performance. Responsible for implementing One Source of the Truth, One View of the Truth mindset. Partner with Sales Leaders to assist in the creation of actionable plans.
Responsibilities:
- Support tied to improving the sales and profits of all Nestlé USA (NUSA) Direct Store Delivery (DSD) products with the customers
- Perform ongoing customer/stakeholder communications related to price promotions, new items, Planogram (POG) updates, store changes, reporting and DSD processes for customers
- Provide data, insights, and strategies to help support profitable business growth
- Help lead initiatives with business partners (DSD Managers) that own the responsibility of aligning with the customer to drive profitable revenue growth
- Coordinate the DSD team to ensure merchandising activities are executed flawlessly and result in maximized return on investment
- Adapt to various challenges and changes in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor DSD contractual commitment database
- Prepare and perform detailed DSD landscape mapping for channel customers
- Manage resources and prioritize competing demands
- Involvement with other special planning projects as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
- 3+ years professional work experience, preferably in an analytical or sales capacity
- Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to derive conclusions and make recommendations from sets of data and analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products (specifically Excel and Power Point) with a good working knowledge of pivot tables, v-lookup, slicers, formulas and conditional formatting. Macro development is a plus
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders at all levels across the organization and ability to work cross-functionally as a team player with a collaborative attitude
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
