We currently have a great opportunity available for a Business Applications Analyst to join our team in Oyster Bay, New York. The Business Applications Analyst supports manufacturing, sales, and customer service teams by building practical systems, automation, and data solutions. This newly created, hands-on role focuses on Power Platform solutions and the selection and implementation of a new CRM system, working closely with business users, IT, and an internal software development team.

Support custom, in‑house manufacturing systems developed by the internal software development team (data tracking, scheduling, production monitoring).

Gather and document requirements from production, scheduling, and operations teams.

Translate business needs into user stories and functional requirements for the internal development team.

Build simple Power Apps prototypes to clarify and validate requirements.
-
Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and collect end‑user feedback.

Act as a day‑to‑day liaison between business users and the internal development team.

Build and maintain Power Automate workflows to reduce manual work.
-
Develop Power Apps for data collection, approvals, and basic process tracking.

Create and maintain SharePoint Online lists and lightweight collaboration solutions.

Identify opportunities to apply Microsoft Copilot and AI tools.

Research, evaluate, and recommend a CRM platform.
-
Support or lead the initial CRM implementation, configuration, and setup.

Provide ongoing CRM administration, user support, and adoption support.

Deliver user training and create clear how‑to documentation, SOPs, and basic security awareness guidance related to system usage and data handling.

Work with IT and developers to ensure solutions meet security and technical standards.

Communicate user feedback, issues, and enhancement requests clearly.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

2 – 4 years of experience working with Microsoft 365, especially Power Platform tools.

Hands-on experience building or supporting Power Automate and Power Apps.

Interest in or exposure to CRM platform selection and implementation projects (Dynamics 365 or similar).

Proficiency with SharePoint Online, Excel (formulas, pivot tables), and ticketing tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar).

Interest in process improvement and reporting (Power BI a plus).

Basic understanding of databases, API’s, and integrations.

Experience working with Software Development teams in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or application support role.

Ability to document requirements and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.

Exposure to a manufacturing, operations, or production environment.

Strong organizational skills, initiative, and willingness to learn.
