The Business Applications Analyst Associate works under the IS Leadership and assumes an active role in delivery of quality technology and information to support; promote; and enhance the organizations ability for effective decision making; patient care; patient safety; education; and research.
The Business Applications Analyst Associate serves as an application specialist who uses expert knowledge; clinical; financial; or information technology experience; and a self-directed approach to develop; establish; and maintain computer application solutions
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
- Associates Degree or equivalent from 2 year college program or technical school; Or two years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Collaborates with and motivates customers; vendors; and other IT professionals to meet challenges which may include working with limited resources in order to maximize efficiency and achieve quality outcomes.
- Is responsible for complex applications and is knowledgeable of Software Vendor team-wide applications; projects and initiatives.
- Has an in depth understanding of system integration and takes steps to insure that other systems and modules will work in harmony with their supported applications.
- Successfully completes work assignments that are complex; multi-disciplinary; multi- application oriented; and require new and unique approaches with a varied group of people.
- Operates under the guidance of Business Applications Analysts; Business Applications Analyst Advanced; and/or Team Leads.
- Efficiently escalates handling of problem or difficult issues and ensures deadlines are met even when this requires that others be persuaded to reprioritize or undertake a completely different approach than is normal; as well as any other projects or tasks assigned to the Information Systems Department.
