Business Operations Intern (f/m/d)
Business Operations is our universal taskforce for Moss’s (financial services) operations.
In this role, you will drive strategic initiatives to optimize workflows, enhance efficiency, and ensure operational scalability across different areas of Moss. This role offers you a unique opportunity to significantly impact the success of one of the fastest-growing FinTechs in Europe.
Your Responsibilities
No day is the same at Moss, but here’s an overview of your core responsibilities:
- Data-driven insights: You analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies, root causes, and scalability constraints. You build structured hypotheses on what is broken, quantify the business impact, and clearly define what needs to be fixed and why it matters.
- Solution Design: Based on your analysis, you design the ideal future-state process and operating model. You define how workflows should function, which teams are involved, which systems and data flows are affected, and how success should be measured.
- Scalable Implementation: You translate your solution into execution by building and implementing improved processes in a tech-savvy, hands-on manner. You collaborate with Operations, Product, Commercial, and Regulatory Functions to introduce tooling, automation, and structural changes to ensure measurable, sustainable impact.
About You
We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in this role:
- You have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, STEM, or a related field with strong analytical rigor.
- You have demonstrated professional excellence in fast moving, high-performing environments (e.g., strategy consulting, investment banking, venture capital, fast-scaling start-ups) or a huge appetite to be in this space.
- You have strong communication skills in English (C1).

- Strong Communicator: You have excellent written and oral communication skills. You can engage stakeholders at all levels of an organisation and tailor your communication to be convincing and appropriate for different audiences.
