A growing physician services organization is seeking an experienced Practice Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead finance and accounting operations for a multi-site physician practice. This executive role partners closely with the Practice CEO and physician leadership to drive financial strategy, strengthen financial controls, and support continued organizational growth.
The Practice CFO will oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury operations, budgeting, audits, payroll, and revenue cycle performance while building strong financial infrastructure and supporting executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead accounting and financial operations including financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, and treasury management.
Oversee monthly and annual financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and manage audit processes.
Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, financial planning, and strategic decision-making.
Support revenue cycle performance and financial operations across the practice.
Develop strong internal controls, policies, and financial processes to support growth.
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
7+ years of progressive accounting or financial leadership experience.
Experience in physician practices, medical groups, or healthcare required
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and healthcare financial operations.
