AmeriStaff Employment and Staffing Solutions is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our client’s executive leadership team. The CFO provides executive-level leadership across the organization and serves as a strategic business partner to the CEO, VP of Sales, and VP of Operations. This role is responsible for overseeing financial strategy, reporting, compliance, and operational finance for the company and its subsidiaries.

Responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer:
- Serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and executive leadership team to support company growth and long-term objectives
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement financial and operational strategies
- Oversee all financial reporting processes, including intercompany transactions and consolidations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the parent company
- Maintain and regularly update cash flow forecasts and profit & loss projections
- Lead the annual budgeting process and present financial plans and results to the Operational Board
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reporting materials for corporate leadership and board meetings
- Oversee treasury operations, including cash pool processes with the corporate office
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including benefits, 401(k), workers’ compensation, audits, and financial reporting standards
- Lead successful annual audits for the company and its subsidiaries, coordinating deadlines and deliverables with corporate partners
- Partner with external tax advisors to ensure accurate tax filings and compliance with current legislation
- Oversee benefit programs in collaboration with HR and executive leadership to ensure competitiveness and compliance
- Manage accounting and IT teams, including indirect reports in a matrix environment
- Communicate company financial performance and strategy internally and externally as appropriate
Requirements for the Chief Financial Officer:
- Strong executive leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing accounting and cost accounting
- Strong financial planning and analysis (FP&A) skills with the ability to clearly articulate insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related financial software
- Ability to manage complex financial operations across multiple entities
- High level of integrity, discretion, and accountability
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of ten (10) years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- At least five (5) years of executive-level leadership experience
- Experience managing accounting, IT, and Human Resource functions preferred
