BASIC FUNCTIONS:
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce CPQ Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency and accuracy in our quoting and pricing processes, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue growth. This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. The position should have the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience, 2+ years in Salesforce CPQ administration and development
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Proficiency in Salesforce CPQ configuration and customization
Strong understanding of pricing strategies and discount structures
Experience with product catalog setup, including bundling and configuration
Previous experience working with a global, enterprise Salesforce implementation including Sales, Marketing and/or Service Clouds
Demonstrated experience with the Salesforce platform and integrations including, but not limited to CPQ, Pardot, ETM, Einstein Analytics, etc.
Participation in refactoring existing development to improve underlying foundation
Ability to map business and functional requirements to Salesforce out of box features and functionality
Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration and customization, data loader
Strong knowledge of Salesforce workflows including triggers, SOQL and SOSL
Strong knowledge of data sharing rules and functionality
Familiarity with Apex, and Lightning with Aura and Lightning with web components
Familiarity with Copado CI/CD or other CI/CD tools
Expertise in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net
Strong research skills
Strong knowledge in industry best practices in development
Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources
Knowledge of automation tools such as Copado CRT, Jenkins, Selenium, Neoload and/or other automation tools is a plus
Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components
Ability to complete complex bug fixes
Good oral and written communications skills
Knowledge and understanding of Siebel a plus
