We are looking for a leader who treats the Finance department as a Business Enabler
Core Responsibilities Finance Leadership:
- Working Capital & Cash Flow Management: Optimize collections and billing cycles to ensure seamless payroll for a massive workforce. Manage credit facilities and banking relationships to support high-value contracts. Optimize the company’s capital structure, manage relationships with investors and lending institutions, and oversee fundraising rounds ( VC’s PE’s)
- Statutory Compliance & Governance: Maintain 100% compliance with Indian labour laws, including PF, ESIC, PT, and GST. Ensure the organization remains tender-ready by adhering to all rigorous central and state government regulations and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- M&A and Integration: Lead financial due diligence for the acquisition of smaller regional players. Drive the post-merger financial integration to capture synergies in procurement and overheads.
- Digital Transformation: Oversee the migration to advanced ERP and automated payroll systems to reduce leakage and improve real-time reporting from remote sites.
- Public/Investor Relations: Act as the primary face for institutional investors and analysts, articulating the resilience of the IFM business model.
- Strategic Leadership: Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, influencing the company’s direction through financial forecasting, capital allocation, and M&A evaluation.
- Financial Operations: Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, treasury, tax, audit, and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis).
- Performance Tracking: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide real-time insights into operational efficiency and profitability.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present financial results and strategic outlooks to the Board of Directors, investors, and internal teams with clarity and transparency.
Accounting & Audit Leadership:
- Statutory & Internal Audits: Lead the end-to-end process for annual statutory audits, ensuring zero qualifications and timely filings.
- Operational Audits: Design and execute a "Vigilance-First" internal audit program specifically for high-risk areas like payroll disbursements, ghost-employee prevention, and site-level petty cash.
- Taxation & Statutory Fortress: Oversee the meticulous auditing of GST Input Tax Credits (ITC) and labor law compliances (PF, ESIC, PT). You will ensure the company is "audit-ready" 365 days a year for any government or third-party inspection.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified CA (Mandatory) with at-lest 25 years of experience in large Infrastructure, engineering or manufacturing organizations with Minimum 5+ years of experience as Finance Controller / CFO
- Strong background in Finance/ accounting with expertise in infrastructure, engineering or manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of managing large teams and complex financial transactions.
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret data-driven insights into actionable
- Exposure to M&A & Investor relations (V. C’s, P.E)
- Excellent communications skills.
- Ability to Manage Global Finance Organizations and Consolidation of Balance sheets across multiple related parties as part of a Conglomerate
- Exceptional communication, "high-stakes" negotiation skills, and a penchant for ethical leadership.
