Unicli helps property managers realize efficiency gains, improved service quality and profitability by streamlining communication tasks for property managers. We help managers reduce the time spent on responding to emails, searching for information, and managing documentation.
Sales today is founder‑led, our product is live, and customers are buying. We’re now looking for a founding commercial leader to take full ownership of go‑to‑market -rolling up their sleeves early and building the revenue engine that will carry the company through its next phase of growth.
Role Description
This is a zero‑to‑one sales leadership role, remote anywhere in British Columbia. AsFounding Head of Sales & Go‑To‑Market, you will gradually take over day‑to‑day sales from the founders, personally close deals, define our GTM strategy, and build the systems, messaging, and team required to scale.
This role is ideal for someone who has:
- Closed B2B deals themselves in a startup environment
- Built sales motions from scratch
- Wants real ownership, influence, and upside
What You'll Do
The Founding Head of Sales & Go To Market will Own and Execute Sales (Hands‑On, Day One), take over founder‑led sales and own the full sales cycle
Personally handle:
- Outbound prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn)
- Demo the product to prospects
- Pricing, proposals, negotiation, and closing
- Sell into strata, condo, and HOA management companies
- Build the Go‑To‑Market Strategy
- Own Marketing Outcomes: lead demand generation, positioning, messaging, campaigns, etc.
- Scale the team over time and transition into a player‑coach role as revenue grows
Qualifications
- Strong hand-on expertise in B2B Sales and Sales Management, with a proven track record of achieving revenue growth and driving go-to-market strategies.
- Experience selling into real estate, property management, or operational B2B verticals (or closely comparable industries)
- Comfortable closing deals yourself - this is not a “manage only” role
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment: you see ambiguity as an opportunity, not a blocker
- Experience in technology, property management, or AI-driven solutions is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
- Masters in Business would be an asset.

Compensation & Ownership
This is a founding‑level role designed for someone who wants meaningful ownership and upside.
Initially, compensation will consist of:
- Meaningful founder-level equity
- High Commission on closed revenue + accelerators
There is no base salary at the start. As revenue becomes predictable and the company scales, this role is expected to transition to a market‑aligned base + variable + equity structure.
This role is best suited for someone who believes in the product, wants real ownership, and is motivated by building long‑term enterprise value—not just short‑term salary.
