Overview
Murray.Industries Ltd. is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to help lead the company through its next phase of growth. The business is advancing across aerospace, simulation and training, advanced manufacturing, applied technology integration, and related subsidiary activity.
The company holds key strategic assets, has aligned customer interest in core areas, and is preparing for facility development, programme integration, and broader expansion. Near-term capital activity is anticipated to support this next stage. The CFO will play a central role in building the financial structure required to support growth across multiple business streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy, forecasting, cash planning, and executive reporting across Murray.Industries and associated entities.
- Prepare the company for near-term investment, capital deployment, and future financing activity.
- Build financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks appropriate to a growing multi-entity business.
- Support project and programme finance across aerospace, training, manufacturing, and technology integration initiatives.
- Provide financial oversight for subsidiary structures, intercompany relationships, and strategic growth planning.
- Support government-facing funding, procurement, and partnership opportunities.
- Help develop financially sound structures for Indigenous participation, regional growth, and long-term partnership pathways where relevant.
Qualifications
- CPA designation or equivalent senior financial credential.
- Significant executive finance experience, ideally as a CFO or senior finance leader.
- Experience in multi-entity organisations, subsidiaries, or diversified business groups.
- Strong background in financial planning, capital strategy, governance, reporting, and risk management.
- Experience in growth-stage, capital-intensive, or technically complex industries.
Preferred Background
Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
- Aerospace, aviation, advanced manufacturing, or defence-adjacent sectors
- Simulation, training systems, applied technology, or programme-based operations
- Government funding, procurement, or institutional engagement
- National operations and international customer environments
