A Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a senior responsible for managing a company’s financial actions, including financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting. Key duties involve strategic planning, capital raising, budgeting, and leading the finance team to ensure profitability and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop financial strategies, models, and budgets to support company growth, including forecasting and risk management.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and prepare accurate, timely financial reports for the board and stakeholders.
- Cash Management & Treasury: Supervise cash flow, investments, and capital structure (debt/equity).
- Leadership & Operations: Lead the finance, accounting, and treasury teams, acting as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior management.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
- Certification: CPA, CFA, or CMA is highly desirable.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in financial management, typically rising from roles like Controller or VP of Finance.
