Junior CFO (Automotive Group) – Confidential

A rapidly growing, multi-location automotive dealership group is seeking a highly driven Junior CFO to support executive leadership and help drive financial performance across the organization.
This is a unique opportunity for a finance professional ready to step into a high-impact role with direct exposure to ownership and a clear path toward a future CFO position.
- Partner with ownership and executive leadership on financial strategy and decision-making
- Oversee monthly financial reporting and ensure accuracy across multiple entities
- Analyze performance across departments including variable ops, fixed ops, and F&I
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Monitor key performance indicators including gross profit, expenses, and cash flow
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Work closely with CEO and CFO
- Assist with acquisitions, integrations, and growth initiatives
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of accounting or finance experience (automotive industry experience strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of dealership financial statements preferred
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
- Strong leadership potential and desire to grow into a CFO role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA is a plus)
