The Business Applications Analyst is responsible for end-to-end support of business applications, including maintaining and configuring specialized industry applications, delivering advanced troubleshooting, user enablement, and clear communication to ensure seamless operations across the organization.

Provide end-to-end application support (Tier II and Tier III) for local and remote users, integrate business applications and manage vendors

Partner with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into reliable dashboards and automated workflows that reduce manual work, shorten cycle times, and improve data quality

Integrate common oil and gas data sources such as production and well data, SCADA data, land, and operations systems

Deliver BI solutions with Power BI and Databricks; automate processes with Power Automate

Leverage Azure services; Work with Azure AD for identities and permissions, Azure Storage for data sources, and Logic Apps when appropriate to support reporting, automation, and application workflows

Troubleshoot incidents, resolve defects, train users, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences

Provide clear documentation and stable change control with successful promotions and minimal regressions; track roadmaps and recommend improvements that drive efficiency

6 or more years providing direct Tier II and Tier III application support for business applications
-
5 or more years working with Microsoft SQL Server 2018 or later, SQL scripting, ODBC, DNS, TCP/IP, and Windows OS

Oil and Gas domain experience across production applications, well lifecycle, SCADA, land, and operational data

Demonstrated Azure and SharePoint technical experience, using lists as data sources, permissions and governance, site administration, and integration with Power BI and Power Automate

Experience with Enersight, Quorum Execute, Peloton WellView SiteView, Merrick Procount, Carte, Sentinel, Aries, or similar applications

Experience with reporting tools such as Databricks and/or Spotfire

Hands-on Power Automate experience building production-grade flows with approvals, conditions, and connectors

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Estimated pay range: $130,000 – $165,000 (depending upon experience of the successful candidate)
