About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function across financial reporting, FP&A, governance, and strategic planning, while partnering closely with operational teams across sales, warehousing, inventory, distribution, and project delivery.
The role requires a hands-on and collaborative leader who can operate strategically while remaining connected to the day-to-day commercial realities of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall finance function, including financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow, and performance analysis
- Drive long-term financial strategy focused on EBITDA growth, ROCE improvement, and sustainable value creation
- Provide financial oversight and commercial guidance across projects ranging from approximately $200K–$2M
- Strengthen governance frameworks, financial controls, risk management, and compliance processes
- Support strategic growth initiatives, transformation programs, and potential M&A activity
- Deliver operational efficiencies, business insights, and data-driven decision-making across the organisation
- Build strong relationships across all levels of the business and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing culture
About You:
- CPA or CA qualified with extensive senior finance leadership experience
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive within growth-oriented businesses
- Strong commercial finance capability across sales, operations, inventory, warehousing, importing, and distribution environments
- Experience managing the financial aspects of projects and operational delivery
- Demonstrated capability in governance, strategic planning, and business performance optimisation
- Strong background in financial modelling, forecasting, reporting, and ERP/business systems improvement
- A humble, pragmatic, and collaborative leader who can work effectively across all levels of the organisation
