About the Role
- We’re hiring an Business Operations Lead to help build and scale the operating system behind our product and service delivery.
- You will work closely with our CEO, Data Operations team, Product, and Engineering to improve how Fairway operates as we grow.
- This role sits at the center of execution across rules, quality, process design, internal tooling, and team scaling.
- You will help design systems that allow Fairway to deliver consistently, move faster, and maintain a high bar for quality as volume increases.
What You Will Do
- Design and improve core operating processes: Build scalable workflows across Data Operations, rules management, QA, and launch support.
- Build systems for scale: Create playbooks, SOPs, dashboards, and operating cadences that help the team perform consistently as the business grows.
- Apply technology and AI to increase leverage: Use automation, internal tools, and AI-assisted workflows to improve speed, quality, and team productivity.
- Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Operations to turn operational insights into better tools, product improvements, and stronger internal systems.
- Strengthen quality and accuracy: Help design processes that improve rules quality, QA standards, feedback loops, and operational consistency.
- Support team scaling: Help define team structure, hiring priorities, training, and workflows so the organization can grow efficiently.
- Build visibility for leadership: Develop reporting and metrics that give leadership clear insight into performance, quality trends, bottlenecks, and growth opportunities.
- Turn feedback into system improvements: Build structured ways to capture operational learnings, edge cases, and customer input and translate them into repeatable improvements.
- Lead high-priority initiatives: Drive strategic cross-functional projects that improve launch readiness, operational performance, and scale.

- 2–8 years of experience: You likely come from Business operation, Operations, Consulting, Product Ops, or a high-growth startup role where you helped build and scale internal systems.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Proven track record of improving complex operational processes
- Experience building systems in a fast-moving environment, ideally at a startup, consulting firm, or operations-heavy business
- Comfort working cross-functionally with business, operations, product, and engineering teams
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to use tools, automation, or AI to improve workflows is strongly preferred
Logistics
- Location: Dallas, TX (Preferred) or Remote
- Compensation: base salary of $150,000–$170,000, plus performance bonus and meaningful equity
