The Role
Location: United States West Coast, with regular travel to client sites
Employment Type: Full-time
We are opening our first US operations. We need someone to build our commercial presence from nothing.
You will be the first GTM hire in the United States. That means you own pipeline creation, early revenue, client relationships, and the commercial strategy for this market. You will define our ideal customer profile, build channel partnerships, land lighthouse accounts, and prove the wedge model works here.
This is not a playbook execution role. You will write the playbook. You will work directly with the CEO and founding team.
We are not looking for someone who has "led an AI transformation." We are looking for a curious, high-agency thinker who can work creatively with enterprise buyers, cut through complexity, and get things done.
What you will do:
- Go-to-market strategy and execution: Help define and execute our GTM approach, including client segments, wedge motion and vertical focus (initially mid-market, while building government in parallel). Drive pipeline creation and progression using AI-native tools and processes.
- Wedge design and sales: Work with the broader team to build and refine the wedge catalogue. Land lighthouse customers with wedge offerings (typically fixed-scope builds), demonstrate value in 60 to 90 days, and convert to platform engagements.
- Value engineering and commercial structuring: Structure deals that align client outcomes with commercial terms. Build pricing and packaging approaches that scale with clear value articulation.
- Client relationships and expansion: Build deep, trusted relationships with C-suite stakeholders. Expand accounts post-wedge (targeting 2 to 3x growth) and turn clients into advocates who refer others.
- Pod alignment (commercial to delivery): Partner with delivery pods to ensure delivery set-up supports commercial objectives, timelines and client outcomes. Maintain tight feedback loops between sales, delivery and product.
- AI-native operations: Help build and refine internal AI-native ways of working, experimenting with AI tools daily to drive leverage (targeting 5 to 10x people leverage) and documenting what works so others can follow.
- Team building and playbook development: Hire, coach and develop the GTM team in the US alongside the CEO/VPs. Codify repeatable processes for sales, value engineering and client expansion, creating the operating system that supports scale.
What you bring:
- 8+ years in enterprise sales, business development, or GTM leadership within AI/ML, enterprise SaaS, or technology companies
- Track record of building pipeline and closing six- and seven-figure deals with mid-market and enterprise buyers
- Experience shaping GTM strategy, not just executing one handed to you
- Deep understanding of the US enterprise AI landscape: buyers, competitors, procurement cycles, and regulatory considerations
- You can hold a room with C-suite stakeholders. Executive presence is not optional
- Familiar with AI/ML technologies, large language models, and enterprise data platforms. You do not need to write code, but you need to speak credibly about what the technology can do
- High agency. You do not wait for permission, process, or perfect information. You move
- Curious and creative. You find angles others miss and figure things out before being told how
