The Opportunity
SUBLYM is seeking an entrepreneurial Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to architect and scale our revenue strategy from the ground up.
This is not a traditional corporate CRO role. As an early-stage startup, the right leader will thrive in an unconventional environment where creativity and strategic thinking are equally valued.
The CRO will design and execute SUBLYM’s demand generation strategy across direct-to-consumer channels today, while laying the foundation for future B2B expansion by 2027.
You will work directly with the CEO/Founder to transform SUBLYM’s philosophy and content into a scalable, modern luxury revenue engine.
Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Strategy & Demand Generation
- Architect and lead SUBLYM’s long-term revenue strategy across D2C channels.
- Build demand generation frameworks that prioritize brand equity and long-term growth over short-term tactics.
- Identify scalable opportunities across digital commerce, community-driven discovery, and experiential fragrance storytelling.
- Develop the roadmap for future B2B partnerships and distribution strategy targeted for expansion by 2027.
Risk & Value Proposition Strategy
- Conduct thoughtful risk and perception assessments around fragrance purchasing behavior.
- Translate SUBLYM’s educational content into clear consumer value propositions.
- Identify barriers to purchase and design strategies that increase trust, reduce uncertainty, and improve conversion.
- Ensure all revenue initiatives align with the company’s commitment to sustainability, quality, and process transparency.
Creative Sales & Conversion Innovation
- Design unconventional sales and promotional strategies that align with SUBLYM’s luxury positioning.
- Test experience-driven selling models, community engagement, and storytelling-led commerce.
- Optimize conversion pathways across digital channels while protecting brand integrity.
- Develop strategic campaigns that elevate the experience of discovering fragrance at home.
Startup Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Operate comfortably in a dynamic startup environment, wearing multiple hats as the business evolves.
- Partner closely with marketing, content, and product development to align growth initiatives with brand philosophy.
- Build foundational revenue infrastructure, processes, and future team structures as the company scales.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in revenue leadership, growth strategy, or demand generation within luxury, beauty, or ecommerce brands.
- Deep understanding of consumer psychology, brand storytelling, and premium positioning.
- Experience developing long-term revenue strategies that balance brand building with measurable growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguous, early-stage environments.
- Creative thinker who enjoys challenging conventional retail and distribution models.
