Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Real Estate / Property Management
$160K–$200K + Bonus + Equity Potential
Location: Glastonbury, CT (Hybrid)
We’re partnered with a growing real estate investment and property management firm that’s scaling quickly across the Northeast. They’ve built a solid portfolio (multi-family + mixed-use) and are now looking for a CFO to step in as a true strategic partner to the CEO.
This is not a “keep the lights on” CFO role—this is someone who wants to build, optimize, and drive the next phase of growth.

- Own all financial operations across a multi-entity real estate portfolio
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning tied to acquisitions and development projects
- Partner with the CEO and ownership group on strategy, capital allocation, and growth initiatives
- Oversee cash flow, debt management, and lender relationships (banks, private equity, investors)
- Drive reporting across property-level and consolidated financials
- Build and mentor an accounting/finance team (Controller + staff)
- Evaluate and improve systems, processes, and internal controls
About the Company

- 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with leadership at the Controller/CFO level
- Real estate and/or property management experience (multi-entity highly preferred)
- Strong understanding of cash flow, financing structures, and asset-level performance
- Experience working with lenders, investors, or private equity groups
- CPA strongly preferred
- Systems-savvy (Yardi, MRI, or similar real estate ERP is a big plus)
