About this opportunity
This role leads the Project Office and Business operations, driving best-in-class project execution, operational efficiency and strategic transformation for one of the Customer Unit (CU) . You will strengthen project management maturity and ensure high-quality, timely and cost-efficient rollout and optimization projects.
Project Office and Business Operations

Lead a unified Project Office for Build & Optimize, ensuring projects stay on track as one fulfilment assignment for customer and internal commitments.

Uplift project management maturity through standard frameworks, best practices, digital methods, and automation.

Ensure delivery excellence with projects completed on scope, time, and cost; drive Acceptance = On Air and strong Order-to-Cash performance.

Develop and deploy project methods, standardized tools, and automated processes across all contract types.

Enhance the established digital project management landscape to manage complexity, reduce lead time, and improve efficiency.

Drive cross-functional programs to enhance productivity, delivery quality, cost efficiency, and scale.

Lead financial performance management for key projects and implement strategic improvement programs (critical projects, savings, cost of poor quality).
- Carry out and strengthen operational and financial governance with circles of the Customer Unit team, and with Market Area(MA) stakeholders of Business Operations & Strategy, Market Area PO(Project Office) governance, Market Area automation and Finance units.

Drive Operational Excellence for areas of Cost, timely revenue realisation, Resource management, utilization, absorption, full potential savings.

Ensure adherence to Ericsson PM processes.

Work closely with the Customer Unit delivery and Market Area automation teams, and ensure adoption of tools and automation solutions to meet the digitalisation ambition of the organization.

Be the custodian of data in all tools, ensure quality of data in all tools both operational and financial, and their reference as the single source of truth for data.

Ensure standardisation of processes and workflows across circles, and implementation in the digitalisation landscape.

Ensure adoption of Gen AI based platforms and solutions to bring efficiency in day-to-day working.

Ensure hygiene in the system for aspects of FAS closure, Global Chronos, Balance sheet items for project financials, Intelligent Deployment, HRMS and any other.

Effectively work with support functions of HR, Sourcing, Supply, Facilities and others.

Ensure adherence to compliance requirements, not limited to CPPM controls, of the organization.

Lead CPM competence development, assessment, certification, coaching, mentoring, and team satisfaction.
What you will bring
-
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Telecom and/or Business Administration.

15+ years of telecom experience in RAN domain, with 5+ years in a leadership position.

Strong understanding of Ericsson customer PM processes, project financials, and global/Market Area/Customer Unit operations.

Proven stakeholder management, customer engagement, financial governance, and cross-organizational collaboration.

Familiarity with and a positive mindset for tools, automation, and digitalisation for project/process implementation.

Strong analytical, planning, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Excellent coaching, mentoring, prioritization and leadership abilities in a matrix and cross-functional setup.

Highly adaptive with strong commercial thinking, business insights, and ability to thrive in fast-changing environments.

Added advantage with knowledge of Ericsson portfolio, RAN technologies, and NRO solutions.
