About your role:
- Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute financial strategy in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives; Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and executive leadership.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation of financial reports, statements, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders; Ensure accurate and timely financial information for decision-making to drive profitable growth.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to align financial plans with business objectives; Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Collections Management: Set and track payment performance. Expand existing credit policies to accelerate receivables. Work with sales on payment terms.
- Risk Management: Work with business and legal leaders to identify risk.Engage with brokers on insurance performance and renewal process.
- Mergers and Acquisitions: Oversee financial due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships; Lead negotiations and financial structuring for transactions.
- Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry-specific requirements; Collaborate with legal and regulatory affairs teams to navigate complex regulatory landscapes. Run our annual audit processes.
- Treasury and Cash Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity, optimizing working capital efficiency; Implement strategies for cash forecasting and capital allocation.
- Investor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for investors and analysts; Communicate the company’s financial performance and strategy to the investment teams.
Requirements and Skills:
- MBA or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in accounting and financial management leadership.
- Proven leadership and management experience is essential.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the executive presence to work with senior management, investors and external stakeholders.
