Lano is a global payroll platform enabling companies to standardize and manage multi-country payroll operations through a unified technology layer.
We are looking for a Working Student - Business Operations / Founder Support (m/f/d) to act as a central execution layer across the company, supporting leadership and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
You'll work across:
- People Operations
- Business Operations
- Internal Coordination
- Founder Support
Main Tasks:
People & HR Operations
- Support onboarding and offboarding
- Maintain HR systems and documentation
- Support payroll preparation and coordination
- Handle employee operational requests
Business Operations
- Coordinate vendors and external partners
- Manage tools and access (Slack, Google Workspace, Notion, etc.)
- Keep internal documentation structured and up to date
- Ensure tasks and follow-ups don’t fall through the cracks
Founder & Team Support
- Support All Hands and internal meetings
- Help track and follow up on key initiatives (e.g., OKRs)
- Take on ad hoc operational tasks
Your Profile:
- Strong ownership and reliability
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Proactive and hands-on mindset
- Ability to structure tasks and follow through
- Strong communication skills
- Discretion when handling sensitive topics
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
Nice to Have:
- Experience in startups, operations, or similar environments
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Slack, or HR systems
